Research Techniques: Epi-fluorescent microscopy, Utermöhl technique, Coulter particle counter, Trace metal-clean technique, Trace metal-defined culture medium, 13C method for photosynthetic rate, 15N methods for N2 fixation and nitrate assimilation, Acetylene reduction for N2 fixation, Mercuric oxide technique for H2 measurement, Flow injection analysis for nitrate and nitrite concentrations, Segmented flow analysis for silicate concentration, Statistics Analysis System (SAS).

Experiences as Teaching Assistant: Biostatistics (undergraduate course, 2003-2011), Biometry Practice (undergraduate course, 2003-2011), Phytoplankton (undergraduate course, 2008-2009), Statistical Methods and Data Analysis (graduate course, 2009-2011).
